a very rough patch

The last five weeks have been a very rough patch for me. After suffering for about one month with intensive abdominal pains, tests recently revealed that the cause was GVHD in the small intestine and stomach. I lost almost 11 lbs and a great deal of strength. They've bumped up my medications to ease the pain and to stabilize the GVHD. I'm scheduled to see my doctor again on Thursday for a follow-up.

Forgive me for this very brief post, but I promise to provide a more detailed one about what has been going on soon.
