This is so funny and cute! With all the snow we've been receiving, I think my

After telling people of my recent diagnosis of colitis, a few assumed it was Crohn's Disease, a chronic form of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) or ulcerative colitis. Just to set the record straight: my diagnosis of colitis is believed to be due to a bacterial or viral infection. It is not Crohn's Disease or ulcerative colitis. Once the medication finishes helping my suppressed immune system take care of the infection's cause that should be the end of it.
I feel considerably better than I did earlier this week, but I don't feel as well as I did before the illness just yet. There is still occasional abdominal pain. I did return to work on Tuesday as I had hoped.
Finally, my tapering of Tacrolimus, the immunosuppresive drug, as directed by Dr. C-M continues. Beginning in February, I'm supposed to take it once a day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
