a more promising future
I had an interview for a prospective teaching job this morning. While waiting for the administrator in her office, there on the wall were these inspiring, eloquent words by Maya Angelou:
but we can change our attitude toward it.
Uproot guilt
and sow forgiveness.
Tear down arrogance
and seed humility.
Exchange love for hate -
thereby, making
the present comfortable
and the future promising.

Hi Duane - hope that something goods comes from your interview. Volunteering is also a good way to network and make connections for employment. My volunteer experiences played a major part in obtaining my current position. You always have such a great attitude...I love reading your blog and keeping up with your life.
((HUGS))my friend.

Beautiful!!!
Good Luck! I love that quote. I think I might have to use that sometime as well.
Mr. Duane,
I am so excited you're venturing into the literacy/teaching field.
The world needs more compassionate, and understanding teachers like you.
Sending you so much love,
B
