neue gallerie

Yesterday after my mid-afternoon appointment with Dr. Roberts, Eileen and I met up for coffee and pastries at the Neue Gallerie's Café Sabarsky by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Though the museum's art gallery was closed on Wednesday, its famous Viennese-inspired café was open.

The last time I stepped foot inside the Neue Gallerie was well over a year ago when I met Laura for coffee. It so happened that at that time the queue to enter the Café Sabarsky was so long that we left and went elsewhere. So, yesterday was in fact my first visit there.

At some point I'll actually see Klimt's art.

Hey Michelle,

I'm getting around a lot more now than a few weeks ago, but there are still restrictions. Mass transit is off limits and I can't go too far b/c cab fare is too much.

Hope all is well.
