a legend is gone

Arthur C. Clarke, one of the masters of contemporary science fiction, passed away yesterday at age 90. In addition to being a gifted writer, he was an ardent supporter of scientific advancement and for man's exploration of the cosmos.

The literary world has lost a giant and the scientific community has lost a friend.

I'm sad that Arthur C. Clarke passed away.

I used to watch "Arthur C. Clarke's Mysterious Universe" on the discovery channel, and I loved it.

I love what he stood for and he is missed.
