day +206

On Wednesday, I went to my dentist for a cleaning and checkup. All looks well even though I was told at Sloan that a filling had been cracked. Since I had that appointment on Wednesday, the usual day that I see Dr. Roberts, I saw him this afternoon for my weekly psych session.

The IVIG treatment, which had been scheduled for this past Monday originally and then, rescheduled for the following day, was scrapped all together. My immune system seems to be doing its daily tasks well enough that the immunoglobulin boost produced from this monthly treatment is no longer needed.

On Monday, St. Patrick's Day, I'm scheduled for another CBC as well as the anticipated PET scan that I referred to in an earlier post.

In other news, the prints that I had ordered from both Imagekind and Shutterfly arrived a few days ago. It was clear though that the print produced by Imagekind was much better. Therefore, I went ahead and ordered prints of the other images that I'm planning to use in the art show next month.

Su was over on Wednesday and Thursday during which time we watched Peter Jackson's three-hour long King Kong and Spike Lee's Jungle Fever. Late last night, I watched Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, which I was curious to check out although it wasn't high on my list when it was first released in the theaters. Anyone familiar with the New Testament story of Jesus will recognize the stories of his life as portrayed in this film easily. Overall, I thought it was quite good though there were definitely some graphic, sanguine scenes that made me a bit squeamish at times.
