anderson cooper: cancer survivor

Anderson Cooper Has Surgery to Remove Skin Cancer

BTW, I have been thinking a lot more about Obama's big speech since making my post yesterday, so I returned to that post and edited my remarks a bit. There's no doubt that his speech was a tremendous one. Only someone with his unique background and life story could have delivered such a bold and brilliant speech, which in time may spur on some meaningful social and cultural dialogue. However, I do hope that the news media will move forward to focusing more on the economy, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the other great problems that our nation faces.

I do think that this ugly controversy is really about judgment not race and though it hurts me as an Obama supporter to admit it, he messed up. His judgment was poor with regards to this subject. As someone seeking political office, he should have recognized the political fallout that might have occurred and acted sooner.
