world lymphoma awareness day

I was reminded by a comment left by someone on my blog that yesterday was World Lymphoma Awareness Day. Let's continue to work towards finding a cure for both Hodgkin's Disease and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma!

Interestingly, at yesterday's Red Sox-Yankees game the Red Sox organization did its part to get out the word about World Lymphoma Awareness Day. Read about it here. I'm sure it's related to their young pitcher, Jon Lester, who returned after completing treatment successfully for anaplastic large cell lymphoma, a rare form of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

All right Duane! Thanks for the post. I'd not seen that Red Sox item. That is cool. I'm the one who left you the little reminder. I hope you're feeling better today.
