pat pedraja advocates for the NMDP

I just watched this episode of CNN Heroes, which introduces the heroic work of Pat Pedraja, a 12 year old leukemia survivor, who is traveling the country trying to encourage people (especially minorities) to join the National Marrow Donor Program's registry. In just three months, Pat helped to register 5,000 people to the registry. He's the founder of Driving for Donors. What an amazing kid!

Watch the CNN video about his efforts here.
