sean swarner atop the world

On ESPN this morning I caught the inspirational and heroic story of Sean Swarner, a two-time cancer survivor of Hodgkin's Disease and Askin's Sarcoma. I first learned about Sean when I found his website, Sean Swarner: Cancer Climber, over a year ago when I was searching for patient stories about Hodgkin's and it was at this time that I linked his website to my blog. Consequently, I was pleasantly surprised to watch the report on ESPN about him this morning. Last month, he became the first cancer survivor to scale the seven highest mountains of the world when he reached the summit of Mt. Denali aka Mt. McKinley in Alaska. Incredibly, he has only one functioning lung. Truly inspirational.

I also found this older report about Sean Swarner.
