health/cancer news

Here's a very interesting NYT article about the instances of fatal heart attacks in well-trained, seasoned athletes: The Not-So-Tell-Tale Heart Though cardiac fitness is an importance barrier against cardiac arrest, it is not absolute. Unknown heart abnormalities and/or atherosclerosis (thickening of the arteries due to plaque buildup) may also contribute to cardiac problems among athletes.

I have listened to a few people attest to the miraculous healing powers of shark cartilage against cancer, so I was intrigued when I found this report: Shark Cartilage, Not a Cancer Therapy
