looks like remission

I called Dr. Rosenbaum, the fellow, at around 3PM for the results of yesterday's PET-CT. She said the PET was clear. There was no uptake or signs of active disease in my chest and abdomen. According to the CT, my chest looked the same, but because the more sensitive test, the PET, didn't show anything at all I'm in remission most likely. The inconclusiveness of the CT in my my chest may be due to scar tissue, the existence of which was brought to my attention after my last scan.

Dr. van Besien is away today. They'll discuss the results and get back to me next week. As of my last conversation with Sinda about 2 weeks ago, no donor had been found. Most likely, therefore, I'll have at least one more cycle of the SGN-30/GVD (GND). We'll need to contact Dr. Castro-Malaspina at Sloan for his take on the situation.
