at the cso

Last night Su and I attended a concert at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, which is located directly across from the Art Institute on Michigan Avenue. I purchased the tickets about a month ago and honestly, I thought about not going with the amount of work that I have but we went and it was pretty neat. The weather last night was pleasantly warm. It was a great evening to walk around downtown.

The program included two works by Mozart and one by Haydn, two of my favorite classical composers.

Mozart's Piano Concertos No. 9 and No. 27 were performed.

Haydn's Symphony No. 96 (The Miracle) was performed.
