cord blood center opens in the bronx

My mom sent me a recent article from the New York Daily News about the opening of the first cord blood collection site in the Bronx. Montefiore Medical Center (where I was treated during my first diagnosis) and the New York Blood Center partnered to open this new facility in part to increase the ethnic diversity of donated stem cells and make transplants possible for more minority patients.
