spleenless

Laughing continues to be the most painful thing. I've been trying to avoid watching Comedy Central or any thing comedic in nature. My dad's a big joker, who makes me laugh all the time, so that means me giving him ample warnings of what not-to-do.

Movement of my right arm remains restricted. It's healing from the awful IV that was placed there while in the hospital. I shouldn't be feeling this much pain from an IV.

I'm slowing moving away from an all-liquid diet. I tried spaghetti last night and it went down well. This morning I ate two slices of whole-wheat bread and several purple grapes for breakfast. I've also been enjoying the chocolate candies - Ferrero Rocher - which we have leftover from Christmas. Because they're soft, they've been okay too. I, however, still become full very quickly.

I've continued to pass gas though they're small and far between. Another good sign is that yesterday I made my first bowel movement.

Blue! Happy New Year! I hope you are feeling now and very happy to hear about your gas passing, because thats what makes the world go round. I wanted to wait to write because I don't want to make you laugh and I know just seeing my face makes you laugh. We are all streaking through the quad this weekend, you are more than welcome to join us.
