alese and mike

Fellow prizefighters, Alese and Mike, have battled Hodgkin's Disease longer than I have and they're still pushing strong. During the past couple of days, I've been browsing their sites learning about their own experiences fighting Hodgkin's. They're truly tough, inspirational individuals who have so much to share with individuals, like myself who are preparing for yet another tour on the battlefield, and with others.

Alese has an awesome website. Honestly, it's probably the most thorough that I've seen yet. I think it's definitely one of the best out there. Please learn about her story here. She also maintains a blog. Perhaps the most unique aspect of her site is learning about her parents' take on seeing their daughter face treatment. You can read their views here.

Mike has been battling Hodgkin's for about seven years. Amazing. He too has a very good account of his experience with cancer, which can be read here.
