richard dawkins

I watched Richard Dawkins give a presentation about his recent and much discussed book, The God Delusion (which I haven't read yet) at Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, Virginia several days ago on C-SPAN 2. He's an eminent British ethologist, evolutionary scientist, and popular science writer who holds the Charles Simonyi Chair in the Public Understanding of Science at Oxford University.

His presentation is divided into two parts, which you can watch below courtesy of the great web source, YouTube.

Here is a recording of the BBC interview of him, which I mentioned in my post of 10/15.

I downloaded and listened to several interviews of Richard Dawkins at his official website. If you click "Archives," you'll find video and audio clips of him under their respective categories.

He's an excellent persuasive speaker. Though many will disagree with him, many of his arguments I found to be quite persuasive. I must, however, read The God Delusion in addition to books with opposing perspectives to learn more.
