continued signs of improvement

My back pain continues to improve. I haven't had the need to take any Tylenol before going to bed at all during the past 6 days. And more importantly, I haven't been awoken by any lower back pain. I have been able to sleep straight through the night, which is awesome. In the early morning when I first wake up, however, I have on occasion felt some tightness in my lower back but after awhile, it tends to go away. This early morning tightness might be the dying remnants of the pain that has plagued me during the night for the past month.

I continue to do some of the stretches learned from the PT, which are aimed to strengthen my abdominals and ease my lower back pain. In addition, I have continued to exercise which I imagine has helped in some way too.

Joanne and Andrew, the PT, were right when they said that given a 3-4 weeks of rest and stretching that my back should improve. I continue to be amazed by the human body and it self-healing abilities.
