paying homage to wadsworth

The NYT has a very exciting article (to me at least), Glory of Landscapes, Then and Now, about two continuing exhibitions at the Wadsworth Atheneum. Naturally, the exhibitions are about landscape art. One is about the art of the famous Hudson River School and the other focuses on the landscape work of contemporary artists.

According to the literature that I've read, The Wadsworth Atheneum has one of the best Hudson River School collections in the country. All of the masters, such as Church, Cole, Bierstadt, and Kennsett, are represented in its impressive collection. A few years ago, I wanted to visit it in Connecticut, but I never got around to doing it. This time I'd like to make it there before the end of the summer.
