lymphomathon 2006

Since 2003, the Lymphoma Research Foundation has sponsered a 5K Walk/Run in the various communities around the US that it serves. In 2003, the fundraising Walks generated more than $200,000 for lymphoma research and patient services. In 2004, the Lymphomathons raised close to half a million dollars and by 2005, they brought in more than $1 million. For 2006, the LRF expects to raise about $1.3 million.

The Lymphomathon is a non-competitive 5K walk where survivors, family, friends, community and corporate teams walk in honor and in memory of those whose lives have been touched by lymphoma. Funds raised by participants will support the Foundation’s mission of eradicating lymphoma and serving those touched by this disease.
