gilda's and lifelab

I plan to attend the Young Adult Support Group meeting at Gilda's Club tomorrow evening. I look forward to seeing the two individuals, whom I met last time and perhaps there will be some new faces as well which would be nice.

Gilda's Club NYC and LifeLab, an organization dedicated to helping young adult cancer survivors rebuild their lives after treatment, are in partnership to offer the first ongoing support group for post-treatment young adult cancer survivors in their 20’s, 30’s and early 40’s. The group will be sponsored by The New York LifeLab and provided by Gilda’s Club NYC. The program is set to kick off on May 3rd at Gilda's where it will continue to be held on the first and third Wednesday of every month. This sounds very exciting and is just the kind of social venue that folks like me need. There are lots of similar support groups for older adults but a microscopic number for the 20-30 year olds.
