is there a light bulb in the moon?

Just one more thing before I hit the sack tonight. As my sister and I walked home from the subway station this evening , I was so struck by the luminosity of the moon. Indeed, I have seen some remarkable full moons but tonight's was particularly curious. Did any of you recognize the same thing too? I pointed out to my sister how the lower right region of the moon was particularly bright. I mean really bright! I have seen full moons in the past, which were bright but they were different. Perhaps their entire faces would be luminous, but tonight's was different. It seemed as if someone (or thing) was pointing a flashlight at the lower right region of the moon. Maybe the moon's not made of cheese. There's a light bulb in its center. . . a halogen perhaps.
